Measured Yoga Therapy is the uniquedevelopment of Life in Yoga Institute thatcombines the wisdom of yoga andtraditional medicine systems (such asAyurveda or Chinese system of meridians)with a scientific measurement approach.Thus, it becomes a bridge betweenmodern medicine and traditionalmedicine systems. It has proven to beefficacious in many conditions that areincurable or difficult to manage, likeautoimmune and chronic conditions.
We begin with the fundamentals of yoga philosophy and mechanism of action. If you don't have a medical sciences background you will be given resources to pick up adequate knowledge. Basics will be covered in the courses along with comparative understanding of traditional medicine systems. Thereafter, you will need to acquire a Bio-well system – which we can supply - and with the training on Bio-well you become ready to use MYT. Next, we will begin to learn the following components of knowledge: (a) Applications of specific yoga therapy practices; (b) Applications for specific health disorders; (c) Use of Bio-well for therapy applications. Seven courses cover the above content over one-year of training and in the second year we get into case-based studying segmented by categories of disorders.
